Maintenance Engineering President Curt Kesselring “Dreams—>Wishes—>Goals”

Salespeople are great goal setters. They have fantastic sounding lists of goals which, if achieved, will dramatically change their lives. Unfortunately, oftentimes goals go unachieved. Many goals, once set, are quickly set aside and forgotten.

The reason these “goals” never turned into reality is that they weren’t really goals at all. They were dreams and wishes. Now dream are fine for they are seeds for wishes. And wishes are fine for they are the seeds for goals… BUT THEY ARE NOT GOALS. Goals are something that you plan to achieve. There’s no ”if”, no ”maybe”, no “I’ll try”, and no “we’ll see if I can hit that”. Goals are something you WILL ACHIEVE. Goals are things you don’t have to write down because they’re etched in your brain, that you think about night and day. Goals consume you. Goals are something you dedicate 100% of your energy towards until they’re achieved.

Some people say that’s a pretty strong test for a goal, a pretty strong commitment. Some people question the need for that strong of a commitment to a goal. to them, I say good luck. For if your goals don’t meet these tests, then they’re not goals. Furthermore, the likelihood of them being achieved is about the same as a lottery ticket.

Take some time to review your goals and eliminate those dream and wish goals. Keep only goals you’re certain you CAN and WILL achieve then commit to them. Allow them to consume you. Give them 100% of your focus, your time and your energy. Soon you’ll be celebrating their achievement.

#1 Commit to Planning & Goal Setting

- Failure to plan is planning to fail.

- Planning is a weakness of virtually every salesman. Make a commitment to do it.

- Henry Ford said, “Thinking is the hardest work in the world, that’s why so few people do it.”

#2 Choose Goals That Excite & Challenge You!

-Think what accomplishment you want to achieve in your spiritual life, personal life, and family life.

- Business, what do you want to accomplish in 2011? Your goals must be definable.

#3. Break goals into Bite Size Pieces.

-They must be believable and achievable in your mind.

-Example “I’m going to open 200 new accounts and 25 are going to come from ____ work area.

#4 review Your Plans and Goals Daily.

-A.M. and P.M.

-Special planning for the week must be done on Sunday night.

-Don’t go into the new week unplanned, unmotivated, and unplugged from your 2011 plans.

#5. Stay Positive

-Remember mimicry

-Stay away from all negative.

*Negative thoughts

*Negative comments

* Negative actions

Only Positive, Positive, Positive!

#6 Work

-Don’t be lazy.

-Look at your goals and plans over and over “until they have you”

I want to thank the seven Veterans who contributed so wisely to these comments. Sounds like these are some very good reasons these Veterans are Top Producers.

Maintenance Engineering President Curt Kesselring “2011…Make It A Riser Year!”

Maintenance Engineering President Curt Kesselring “2011…Make It A Riser Year!”The Maintenance Engineering Opportunity is BIGGER THAN EVER! Be sure that you set goals to match. Few people in America have the opportunity to increase their incomes by 10%-20%-50%–100% next year! Maintenance Engineering’s salespeople have such an opportunity. All you have to do is decide what income you want and what effort you’re willing to put forth to achieve your goals. Match those two and you will turn your goals into reality on January 1, 2012!

Use the Maintenance Engineering Awards Program to focus your efforts and track your goals. The best award for this is our Riser Program.

Maintenance Engineering salespeople are special. Most people cannot be direct salespeople. They can’t handle the refection. They don’t have the work ethic or their goals are low. Maintenance Engineering salespeople have passed those critical tests. Now is the time to turn that very special personality and skill set into money. It’s not easy… but that’s why it pays so well.

The Maintenance Engineering Opportunity is a perfect match for hose rare people who can handle direct sales. Be proud, be strong….and set goals to match. This year, in 2011, BE A RISER! It’s my favorite award. Make it yours!!

Maintenance Engineering President Curt Kesselring “What You Think About You Bring About!”

“What you think about you bring about!”- Mary Kay Ash

What do you think about…

-when you get up in the morning?

-throughout the day?

-when bad things happen?

-when good things happen?

-at the end of the day?

-your last thought of the day?

The mind is the most powerful force in the world. It can nurture a baby or build a rocket to the moon? It can nurse people back to health or build a nulear bomb. Our minds are amazingly powerful…. but only if they are CONSISTENTLY and CONSTANTLY focused on an objective.

On January 9, 2011 we begin our new awards year. In your weekly packet you will find your 2011 Goal Setting materials. Set your hoal high at a level you know will stretch you but that you can achieve. Then begin to think about them consistently and constantly. Fill your mind with thought about how you are going to go about achieving your goals, about progressing towards them and about how you will fell when you achieve them at the end of 2011.

Control your thoughts and you’ll control your actions. This is not a partime activity. You must do it CONSISTENTLY and CONSTANTLY! Be consistent by thinking about the exact same goals. Be constant by thinking about your goals all the time, constantly! Allo your goalsto consume your thoughts and actions 24/7.

I’ve enclosed a simple card for you to carry in your pocket or purse. Pull it out frequently throughout the day to insure you apply this simple and powerfule technique for the next 365 days! It will guarantee you hit your goal… so set your goals high!

What you think about…you bring about!

President Curt Kesselring
